Don't Be Happy When They Compare You To Me - Shatta Wale To Black Sherif

Ghanaian dancehall performer, is disappointed that some music fans are comparing him to Black Sherif, the singer of “Kwaku the Traveller.”

According to Shatta Wale, the comparisons hurt the work that artists have done over the years.

Shatta Wale claimed in a live video session on social media platforms that artists have the mandate to exist without people pitting them against one another.

People have the right to choose their favorite performer and the type of music they enjoy, according to Shatta Wale.

The dance-hall monarch didn’t stop there; he went on to say that making comparisons is quite unappealing, citing himself and Black Sheriff as an example. Because Black Sheriff is a newcomer to the music industry.

He, on the other hand, asked the public to leave the young rapper alone to pursue his music career and display his talent without the distractions that he believes will taint Black Sheriff’s image.

He finally ends his live session by remarking on how people used to compare him to Stonebwoy, Samini, and other artists, which he believes is unfair because no artiste can match his effort after his successful return to the music industry when things were extremely difficult for him to resurrect his career.
