'We Don't Smoke Weed' - Asakaa Boys Speak On The Delay Show (+VIDEO)

The music group although admitted they sing music on weed smoking, they don’t smoke marijuana.

The constellation of artistes were on Delay’s interview show where the latter asked them if they take in stuff.

The Asakaa Boys used the platform to debunk assertions their songs are having a negative toll on the lives of youth. They however said the songs indeed portrayed street life.

“At the end of the day, when it comes to our generation, there are no excuses.” There’s no need to disguise it since it’s all about money, sex, drugs, and other things,” Kwaku DMC remarked during the interview. “We aren’t the first to mention these topics in our music. It’s a fact, and it’s happening right now. We observe people who perform these tasks; it is a skill. It’s the same with movies that are based on real-life events.”

Snooking “is an existing lifestyle, and we are only talking about what we know in our songs,” City Boy, another member of the group, noted.
