At the recently concluded BET Hip-Hop Awards 2022, Ghanaian songwriter and drill musician Black Sherif and others lost the ‘Best International Flow’ Award to Benjamin Epps.
At the 2022 edition of the prestigious awards scheme, Black Sherif was nominated in the ‘Best International Flow’ category alongside Benjamin Epps (France). Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK). Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
Sarkodie was the first winner in the Best International Flow Category, beating Falz (Nigeria). Ghetts (UK), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (UK), Nasty C (South Africa), and Tory Lanez (Canada).
The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards took place tonight. As usual, some of the biggest names in the world of rap music were honored, though the only awards of the night were handed to Glorilla (Breakout Artist). Drink Champs (Hip Hop Platform), and DJ Drama (DJ of the Year).

The show’s performances included a star-studded Loud Records tribute featuring Wu-Tang Clan, Dead Prez, Lil Kim, and Fat Joe. Pusha T’s performance included a surprise Clipse reunion.
The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards were the 17th installment of the BET Hip Hop Awards and were held on October 4, 2022. On September 12, 2022, the nominations were announced.
